An account on someone’s facebook page of quick thinking (was it really thinking?) and reaction (action?) put me in mind of the connections we work so hard on with our horses.
That is, depending on the type of connection one is seeking.
A connect of CONTROL? Or, a true connection between hearts and minds of two living beings … horse and human?
A connection of individuals in each others’ worlds?
The equipment, the tools, the gadgets, the rules — all left brained aids. All ‘artificial aids’ as known in the horse world.
Breathing, moving, stillness, visualizing, feeling, sensing, connecting heart to heart, mind to mind — all right brained.
No tools. No gadgets. No whips, spurs, bits, bridles or lines.
Naked connections. HONEST connections.
Heart to heart; brain to brain.
A golden, silken thread connecting one species to another in silent communications. In open communications.
